UPDATES
July 10, 2006:
Alright, I'm going to put my effort to update this site to at least the current iRO Episode 10.2 Lighthalzen. I might add some extra tags and index for the future game expansions as well. Thanks to Jason for giving me the opportunity to do this. I most likely will ask for help to many of the people I have met for these pass 3 years because there a lot of work to be done here. I'm still adapting to the site, format etc and still learning stuffs. So please be patient since the updates might go up a bit slow. Ricardo July 6, 2006:
So you may have noticed there has been a severe lack of updates in a long time. Well, I've quit RO and no longer really have the time nor interest to update the site. However, I hate to see such a useful (but outdated) resource go to waste. If you're interested in keeping the site up-to-date and make changes I will be willing to keep the site hosted as long as you follow a few rules. Please contact me at rodatazone [at] simgaming.net for details. August 11, 2005:
Wow, an update.Changed Sight and Ruwach to reflect in-game changes. I found that the area affected is actually bigger than I first thought so those pages reflect those changes now. Also, for those of you entered I've had an exp chart for my own records for a while, but I finally uploaded it to the site in Excel format. You can find it here. Thanks goes to Blueness for help with the exp chart as well. June 29, 2005:
Updated all the 1st class pages to reflect the most up-to-date skill changes as possible. Everything should be up-to-date EXCEPT Swordman's Magnum Break and Endure which I still need to perform extensive testing on. Otherwise, please let me know if you see anything that I might have put in incorrectly or missed.June 15, 2005:
Updated the Acolyte and Thief job pages. Corrected Demonbane/Divine Protection Formula, corrected Aqua Benedicta cast time/delay as well. Changed stone throw from 30 damage to 50 damage.Expect other updates in the near future as well, as I'm trying to get the job information up-to-date for iRO. As soon as I correct all the skill changes for 1st classes, I'll update and correct 2-1 and 2-2 classes and finally, Advanced Class Jobs. As always, if you're willing to provide help with testing the skills update, please contact me at rodatazone [at] simgaming [dot] net June 6, 2005:
Swordman bonuses corrected and updated thanks to Blue` and information from DashivaMay 30, 2005:
To quote Mark Twain, "The rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated..."I'm still around although school has been keeping me very busy. But that's over with, for now. So I have had some more time to devote to rodatazone. No special updates to announce yet, other than I'm working on revamping the monster list into a monster database, and I'm about 50% of the way there. Keep an eye out for it's release soon. April 4, 2005:
Fixed a small error on the forging page.March 19, 2005:
Some of you may have noticed that the servers have been rather sluggish lately. I apologize for the issue, but I'm not quite sure what the problem is. I'm going to talk with the system admin of the server pretty soon and see if I can't get the issue resolved.March 18, 2005:
Umbala and Niflheim monsters are now up to date! As I was updating it, I was taking notice at how difficult it is to update as the system currently stands. I think I may eventially convert the monster database to something easier to read and update, but we'll have to see.I plan to get the Post-Amatsu monster relocation patch updated pretty sooon for the maps page. Keep an eye for that. March 7, 2005:
To quote Monty Python, "I'm not quite dead yet." School has hit full force draining any free time that I previously had. I apologize for the lack of updates to the database, but I'll see if I can at least finish a few things in the upcoming weeks after midterm.February 5, 2005:
Added a few notices to the status effect page. It appears that some of the formulas are incorrect, but still fairly close. I've determined that immunity from poison, at least in WoE/PvP is no less than 100 vit. However, I was still unable to determine stun and the effect luk plays in resistance. I'll try and test those at a later date when possible.February 2, 2005:
Kunlun Monsters now updated! Next in line, Umbala!January 31, 2005:
Amatsu monsters now updated on the Monster List thanks to some info from Emperium.org and OWN Ragnarok. Kunlun monsters, come up next!January 25, 2005:
Fixed a few links thanks to Dashiva of the iRO Calc fame. Yes, you should visit his site today if you haven't already!January 24, 2005:
Slowly but surely, updates are happening! The map project is on a hiatis right now until I get all the information for Amatsu, Kunlun, Umbala, and Nifleheim monsters in. But in the meantime, I did update the Monster Hit/Flee information from monsters added between the Amatsu and Nifleheim updates. As always, if you notice anything out of the ordinary, drop me an email at rodatazone (at) simgaming (dot) net.January 17, 2005:
Completed (hopefully) that majority of the maps on the Maps/World section so all the portals going from map to map should be correct now. If there are any portals missing or incorrectly listed please let me know which ones, specifically which portal, and which map it's coming from, and the map that it's pointing to.Next up is fixing all the monster information for each map, and this might take a while. Please note that all information is currently still pre-amatsu until further notice. January 7, 2005:
Don't expect any updates for about a week as I'll be out of town. I won't be replying to any emails either since I won't have an internet connection.January 5, 2005:
I've setup a new email address which you can finally contact me at: (you'll have to type it in now) rodatazone (at) simgaming dot net. I still am available at the previous address as well, but please use this one from now on. I've also been working on the Maps/World section, a lot earlier than expected. It seemed this was what I was getting the most emails about, so I figured I'd go ahead and attempt to update it. I know a lot of the information is still incorrect, but I'll get to it over time. January 5, 2005:
I'm sorry for the trouble, but I had to take me email off the site for right now since I was being bombarded with spam. Until I setup a new email address you can contact me on AIM at scurker or ICQ at 18324596. If you would still rather email me, contact me through either one of those and I can provide you my email address through that. |
