Swordman Skills

This section covers all known information on the various Swordman Skills.

Bash
Required For: Bowling Bash (L10, Knight), Magnum Break (L5+).
Max level: 10
Type: Active, Level Selectable
SP cost: Level 1-5: 8, Level 6-10: 15.
Target: 1 Enemy
Range: Melee Range
ATK Type: Weapon's property, Melee, Physical Attack
Cast time: 0
Cast delay: AtkSpd
Duration: Instant
Effect: A melee attack with ATK modifier equal to 100% + 30%*Skill Level. There is a hit bonus of +10 at levels 1-5 and +20 at level 6-10. If the character has the Attack Weak Point skill as well, levels 6-10 will add a chance to Stun of 5%*(Bash Skill Level - 5).

Endure (Provoke L5+)
Required For: Peco Peco Riding (L1+, Knight).
Max level: 10
Type: Active

Target: Self
Cast time: 0
Cast delay: Unknown
Duration: (10 + 10*[Skill Level/2 - 1]) seconds
Effect: Makes character skip "flinch" animation when hit, thus preventing "stun lock". You still take full damage from hits, but you keep on doing whatever you were doing without pause. A sitting character does not stand up when hit while affected by Endure.

Increased HP Recovery
Max level: 10
Type: Passive
Effect: Heals ((5*Skill Level) + (MaxHP*0.002*Skill Level)) hp per 10 full seconds spent standing on one tile. Increases the effect of healing items by 10%*Skill Level (cumulative with the increase from Vit).

Magnum Break (Bash L5+)
Required For: Bowling Bash (L3+, Knight).
Max level: 10
Type: Active

Target: 1 Enemy
Range: Melee Range
ATK Type: Fire property, Melee, Area, Physical Attack
Cast time: 0
Cast delay: 2 seconds
Duration: Instant
Effect: 3x3 tiles, Fire property splash attack with an ATK modifier of 100%+15%*Skill Level. Enemies hit by the attack are pushed west 2 tiles. "West" is towards the left-hand side of the mini-map. Drains 15 HP per use, but cannot kill character.

Provoke
Required For: Endure (L5+).
Max level: 10
Type: Active, Level Selectable
SP Cost: 3 + Level
Target: 1 Enemy
Range: 9 Tiles
Cast time: 0
Cast delay: Unknown
Duration: Instant
Effect: Lowers a Monsters DEF and VIT DEF by 6%*Skill Level and increases the Monsters ATK by 2%*Skill Level. Undead and Boss monsters are not affected. Against a player, it lowers VIT DEF by 5% + 5%*Skill Level and increases Base and Weapon ATK by 2% +3%*Skill Level.

Sword Mastery
Required For: Two-Handed Sword Mastery (L1+).
Max level: 10
Type: Passive
Effect: Increases damage with Daggers and Swords (1-handed only) by 4*Skill Level. This damage ignores reductions from Armor and Vit Defense, but not from Elemental and Card modifiers.

Two-Handed Sword Mastery (Sword Mastery L1+)
Required For: Counter Attack (L1+, Knight), Bowling Bash (L5+, Knight), Two Hand Quicken (L1+, Knight).
Max level: 10
Type: Passive
Effect: Increases damage with Two-Handed Swords by 4*Skill Level. This damage ignores reductions from Armor and Vit Defense, but not from Elemental and Card modifiers.

Swordman Skill Quests

With the Comodo patch there are now three Skills that a Swordsman can gain through quests. Following is the information on them.

Attack Weak Point (Swordman Job L25+ or Crusader/Knight)
Other Requirements: Gather 10 Fire Arrow, 10 Silver Arrow, 1 Banana Juice, 30 Tentacle, 5 Royal Jelly. Talk to Leon von Frich inside Chivalry in Prontera (46,345).
Max level: 1
Type: Passive
Effect: Adds chance of causing stun on target when using bash level 6 or above. Stun Chance is 5%*(Bash Skill Level - 5) with a minimum chance of 0%.

Auto Berserk (Swordman Job L30+ or Crusader/Knight)
Other Requirements: Gather 35 Powder of Butterfly, 10 Honey, 10 Horrendous Mouth, 10 Decaying Nail. Talk to Juan inside upgrade shop in Prontera (178,185).
Max level: 1
Type: Passive
Effect: When character goes below 25% HP, gains the effect of Provoke L10 on self. The effect lasts until the character returns to more than 25% HP.

Moving HP Recovery (Swordman Job L35+ or Crusader/Knight)
Other Requirements: Gather 200 Empty Bottle and 1 Moth Wing. Talk to Knight De Thomas inside house in Izlude (214,129).
Max level: 1
Type: Passive
Effect: Character regenerates HP while walking. Rate is 25% of standing recovery, and not affected by Increased HP Recovery skill.

Accessory: All Accessories (except Novice Armlet!).
Armor: Adventurer's Suit, Chainmail, Coat, Cotton Shirt, Formal Suit, Full Plate (40), Jacket, Mantle, Mink Coat (30), Padded Armor, Pantie, Saint's Robe, Silk Robe, Wedding Dress, Wooden Mail.
Foot Gear: All Foot Gear.
Garment: All Garments.
Headgear: All "Novice" Hats (long list), Bone Helm (70), Cap, Cigar, Coronet, Crown (45), Fin Helm (65), Gemmed Sallet, Goggles, Golden Gear (40), Helm, Iron Cain (50), Majestic Goat, Munak Hat, Orc Helm, Pipe, Spiky Band (50), Tiara (45).
Shield: All Shields.
Weapons: All Axes, All Daggers, All Maces (except Stunner), All Spears (except Lance), All Swords (except Flamberge), All Two-Handed Swords (except Claymore).
